Charlotte Huggins, Producer
Charlotte Huggins has realized her passion for special venue productions after
experiencing many facets of the entertainment industry. As a first
time writer/producer she made Interview 15, a docudrama
honored by several film festivals, including the New York and Berlin
Film Festivals, as Best Educational Film. Later, while working at
Stephen J. Cannell Productions, Huggins got a job in story
development with television legend Roy Huggins, who later became her
father-in-law, and she went on to write the hit NBC show Hunter.
Huggins was soon offered a position at Boss Film Studios producing
national CLIO Award-winning commercials (Magnavox, United
Airlines) where she discovered her passion for special venue
production as producer of the 1993 Worlds Fair attraction
Journey to Technopia. She subsequently went on to work on a
number of highly successful large format films including Disneys
theme park attraction Honey I Shrunk the Audience and Sony
Pictures Classics film Wings of Courage, and LG Groups
35mm 3-D attraction film Ahead of Time. She also served as
executive producer for the King Kong sequence in
WGBH/NOVAs Special Effects: Anything Can Happen. Huggins
currently serves as President of nWave Pictures, and has served with
innovation and proficiency as producer of all of nWaves giant
screen productions including Thrill Ride, 3-D Mania: Encounter in
the Third Dimension, Alien Adventure and Haunted
Castle.
